Sickness Absence Review / Return to Work Medical Examinations
This usually follows a period of long-term absence due to sickness with the intention of assessing the employee's fitness to return to work and evaluation of modifications to work processes which may need to be made as a result of his or her illness.
An examination is carried out by an Occupational Physician and a written report is supplied.
Absenteeism Management
This includes both the long term absences and the short term repeaters.
Management of Long Term Illnesses
From the management of specific medical conditions in the workforce, such as diabetes and epilepsy, to the establishment, implementation, and management of addiction/alcohol policies.
Ill Health Retirements
Medical examinations with a view to ill health retirements and disability pensions.
Rehabilitation Programmes
Following injury or illness, rehabilitation advice may be needed. A full assessment and treatment programme can be provided by our Physiotherapist in conjunction with the Occupational Physician.
